Cutty Sark, Cats, & Connection: A Greenwich Get-Together

Join Kindrelle for a lovely afternoon in one of London’s most charming neighbourhoods, with a little Greenwich wandering before spending 90 minutes with the rescue cats at Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium.

Think: a gentle afternoon out, good company, beautiful surroundings and plenty of feline therapy. 🐈‍⬛

2:00 pm — Meet at Cutty Sark

We’ll meet at Cutty Sark (exact location shared with event attendees) and take our time exploring Greenwich together.

You’re welcome to arrive a little earlier if you’d like to grab lunch first, or simply meet the group and wander around the area with us.

Greenwich is particularly lovely for an afternoon like this - historic streets, independent cafés, the river, the beautiful Cutty Sark, and plenty of little corners to explore.

We can keep this part of the afternoon spontaneous and see where the group feels like going.

Around 2:45–3:00 pm — Make our way towards Lady Dinah’s

We’ll gradually make our way towards the cat café, allowing plenty of time for a relaxed walk and any little stops along the way.

3:15 pm — Arrive at Lady Dinah’s

We’ll aim to be at the café by 3:15 pm, giving us a comfortable buffer before our booking begins.

3:30–5:00 pm — 90 minutes with the cats 🐱

This is the main event!

We’ll spend 90 minutes inside Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium, enjoying the company of their resident rescue cats and kittens.

You can relax, play with the cats, have a little cuddle if they choose to come over, or simply sit with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

Lady Dinah’s is a rescue-focused cat café and the cats are free to roam around the space. The café supports cats in its care while they await their forever homes, so your visit also helps support their ongoing welfare.

There’s also food and drink available to order inside the café if you fancy a tea, coffee, cake or something savoury during your visit. Food and drinks are not included in the standard cat café booking or in your ticket price.

There’s something wonderfully easy about spending an afternoon in Greenwich.

From the riverside and Cutty Sark to the historic streets, cafés and little shops, it’s a neighbourhood that feels a world away from the pace of central London — without actually being far away.

We’ll keep the afternoon relaxed rather than over-planned. Come for the cats, stay for the wandering, lunch, conversations and whatever little discoveries Greenwich brings along the way.

Lady Dinah’s is home to rescue cats, so the experience is very much on their terms.

You’ll be able to say hello, stroke and play with cats who are happy to interact, but we won’t disturb cats who are sleeping, eating or grooming, and guests aren’t allowed to pick them up.

Their cat carers will also be around to help us understand each cat’s personality and preferred way to play.

Please also remember that cats are wonderfully independent creatures — so there’s no guarantee that every cat will want a cuddle! And that’s part of the fun. 🐾

We’ll create a Kindrelle Instagram group chat before the event, so you can say hello, get to know a few of the people coming along and start connecting before we meet in Greenwich.

It’s a lovely way to put a few names to faces beforehand and make the afternoon feel a little more familiar when we meet at Cutty Sark.

You can introduce yourself, chat with others, make plans to arrive together if you’d like, and share any ideas for lunch or exploring Greenwich before our cat café booking.

The group chat is completely optional but we’d love for you to join in and start getting to know the community before the day. 💛

2:00–2:45/3:00 pm — Explore Greenwich / optional lunch or coffee
3:00 pm — Head towards Lady Dinah’s
3:15 pm — Arrive at the cat café
3:30–5:00 pm — 90 minutes with the rescue cats
5:00 pm onwards — You’re welcome to continue the afternoon together, grab a bite or explore more of Greenwich

The timings before Lady Dinah’s are intentionally flexible — the only important thing is that we’re at the café by 3:15 pm so we’re ready for our 3:30 pm booking.

• Lady Dinah’s has a 12+ age policy.
• Your ticket covers the 90-minute cat café experience. Food and drinks are additional.
• Please arrive on time — late arrival may mean you’re unable to receive the full experience, depending on how busy the café is.
• If you have accessibility requirements, please let us know in advance so arrangements can be made with the café. Lady Dinah’s has accessible facilities and a ramp at the entrance.
