Fort Churchill was built during WWII to combat the Nazis, but after the war it quickly morphed to take on the perceived Soviet threat. As a joint operation by Canada and the United States, numerous arduous field trials and bizarre scientific experiments took place in order to protect North America from Soviet invasion.
