Ride with Built to Win to Sweet Auburn for a hosted exploration of Black entrepreneurship, migration, faith, food and cultural influence. The route follows Auburn Avenue through historic storefronts, public art and landmarks connected to the district’s commercial and Civil Rights legacy.The experience concludes with a curated plant-based tasting at Slutty Vegan Edgewood while discussing how contemporary Black-owned businesses continue Sweet Auburn’s tradition of entrepreneurship, cultural visibility and community investment.
MARTA route: Meet outside Midtown Station → board a southbound Red or Gold Line train → ride through North Avenue and Civic Center to Peachtree Center Station → exit toward Peachtree Center and connect with the Atlanta Streetcar at the Peachtree Center stop → ride eastbound to Auburn at Piedmont → continue the Culture Crawl on foot along Auburn Avenue toward the King Historic District → pass historic storefronts, cultural landmarks and public-art locations → walk to Slutty Vegan Edgewood for the concluding tasting.
