Curious about end-of-life alternatives to burials or cremations? The Kenney welcomes the West Seattle community for an educational presentation with Recompose about this sustainable alternative to traditional end-of-life practices.
Recompose Outreach Manager Laura Cassidy will explain how human composting gently transforms human remains into soil, how the process works, its environmental benefits, and how it can offer a meaningful approach to grief and loss. The 60-minute presentation will include 15 minutes for audience Q&A.
Recompose is a Seattle-based green funeral home that has cared for more than 500 families.
All are welcomed. Great for those in retirement and curious about their options. The event is free and open to the public.
