Step into the studio for a cosy, hands-on introduction to the relaxing art of counted cross-stitch! Whether you have never threaded a needle or are eager to pick up a mindful new creative practice, this beginner-friendly session takes you from simple grid patterns to your very own handmade holiday card. Under the expert guidance of Madeleine from Can't Talk Stitching, you will learn foundational stitching techniques one little "x" at a time, watching colourful squares transform into a textured keepsake piece mounted on quality cardstock. You will have your pick of one of five original festive designs, and for that extra seasonal sparkle, you can embellish your work with optional glass accent beads. Leave the kitchen table clutter behind, gather at our Queen Street workbenches with fellow makers, and head home with a charming, hand-crafted card ready to gift or display.
