CROOK HOUSE AFTER DARK Thursday, October 22 | 7:00 to 8:30 PM
Tickets are ON SALE NOW!
It’s officially spooky season, and once the sun goes down and the doors of the Crook House Museum close for the day, this 1879 home takes on an entirely different atmosphere.
Join the Douglas County Historical Society and Jamie Nestroyl of Midwest Paranormal History Tours for Crook House After Dark, a 90 minute after hours experience where nearly 150 years of history meet stories that aren’t quite so easy to explain.
This is not a ghost hunt.
Instead, Jamie will lead you through the Crook House and around the property, sharing its documented history alongside firsthand accounts from people who have lived, worked, volunteered, visited, and spent time here.
Things heard when no one else was around.
Things seen that couldn’t quite be explained.
Experiences that have stayed with people long after they left.
You’ll hear those accounts while standing in the very places where they happened and have the opportunity to decide for yourself what you think.
There’s something about hearing these stories during the day.
There’s something entirely different about hearing them after dark, when the museum is closed and the house has gone quiet.
