About this Event
Learn the fundamentals of crochet in this beginner-friendly, one-on-one class. Students will learn how to properly hold a crochet hook and yarn, create a slip knot and foundation chain, and practice the slip stitch and single crochet stitch. We’ll also cover proper tension and stitch counting before putting those skills into practice by creating your first crochet practice square. This first practice square will serve as the beginning of your personal crochet stitch journal, giving you a reference to build on as you learn new stitches throughout your crochet journey.
