An evening of conviction, beauty, and renewal.Join Winston-Salem Choral Artists, led by Artistic Director and Conductor Chris Gilliam, for Margaret Bonds’ Credo and Zoltán Kodály’s Missa Brevis—two extraordinary works that speak to belief, courage, and hope.
Bonds’ Credo brings the words of W. E. B. Du Bois to life through a powerful musical declaration of dignity and shared humanity. Guest Artists Meroë Khalia Adeeb, Soprano, and Joshua Conyers, Baritone, join the Choral Artists, with Robert Matthews at the piano.
Kodály’s Missa Brevis offers a profound companion work, with organist Timothy Olsen performing on Augsburg Lutheran Church’s newly dedicated Noack pipe organ.
