Creative Writing for Beginners: A Four-Part Series with local award-winning author & poet, Anastasia Lindsey! Have you ever thought, “I’d love to write… I just don’t know where to begin?” Pull up a chair, I designed these classes just for you!
This four-part creative writing series was created especially for beginning writers, curious creatives, and anyone who has a story inside them but isn’t quite sure how to get it onto the page.
You do not need a manuscript. You do not need previous writing experience. And you definitely don’t need to walk in already calling yourself a writer.
Over four Saturday mornings, we’ll gather in a small, welcoming group to explore where ideas come from, write from memory, uncover the stories we inherit, and begin imagining the book that might already be living inside you.
Each 90-minute class will include guided writing exercises, conversation, encouragement, and plenty of room to experiment without the pressure to be “good.”
And because writing is better with something warm nearby and something tasty to fuel creativity... coffee and snacks will be provided at every class!!
