Loesje workshops involve writing short texts through a creative group process. They:
🤹stimulate creative thinking,
🤽♀️ encourage playful use of words,
💭 help participants express their thoughts in concise and unconventional slogans.
The workshops use simple yet effective group work techniques combined with universal creative writing methods.
🎳 It’s all about group dynamics, playing with words, and exploring metaphors and associations.
At the end of the session, a selection of inspiring texts will be chosen for final editing. The texts will later be laid out to create a new series of black-and-white posters signed by Loesje. No previous experience in creative writing is required, as full instructions will be provided.
The workshop is open to anyone interested in boosting their creativity and who has a good command of spoken and written English.
Loesje ['luʃə]
Loesje is an open-minded Dutch girl and simultaneously a world wide collective of people who want to make the world a more creative place. The idea of Loesje was born in 1983 and it spread around Europe and other parts of the world after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Local Loesje groups write and spread black and white posters with texts about everything that happens in society. Loesje texts are mostly positive and funny, and at the same time critical, wanting to stimulate the readers to see things from new perspectives. International and local posters are published on www.loesje.org and are made available for free downloads for any non-commercial use.
