Reflective workshop for artists and creatives on how to sustain a creative life beyond the next project. All are welcome.
About this Event

What happens after the work is made and enters the world?

Led by sydney a foster, this reflective workshop invites artists and creatives to consider how to sustain a creative life beyond the next project. Through guided reflection, group conversation, mindfulness and gentle movement, participants will explore accountability, community relationships, stewardship, boundaries and personal sustainability.

Together, we’ll consider what we want to keep, tend to and release as we build creative practices that make room for both the work and the person creating it.

Open to artists and creatives at any stage. No yoga experience is necessary, and participants can engage with the gentle movement in ways that suit their bodies.

What to Expect:

-Movement in the form of gentle movements and breath exercises. We encourage you to bring a mat and a cushion.

-Refelction in the form of journaling. Be sure to bring a journal and writing tool, we will also have some available.

-Community. Meet fellow artists, creatives, and community members.

Doors will open at 5 PM, workshop will begin at 5:30.
