Qiu Bai from Queer China UK will share how they engage with the Chinese LGBTQ+ diaspora through creative practices that make space, generate shared knowledge, and sustain belonging across borders. Drawing on their community-engaged art initiatives and peer support, the talk reflects on how these creative infrastructures empower the community members to navigate intersecting challenges of migration, race, and sexuality.
About the Speaker
Qiu Bai (she/her) is a community organiser and socially engaged artist. She founded Queer China UK hoping to create a “home” for the Chinese LGBTQIA+ community.
