Air-dry clay with Beate Grauduma
Join artist Beate Grauduma for a beginner-friendly air-dry clay workshop. You'll learn core hand-building techniques, from pinching and coiling to slab construction, and explore how structure, balance and proportion come together to shape a sculpture.
By the end you'll have made your own small sculpture to take home the same day: an abstract form, a nature-inspired shape or a simple figure, whichever speaks to you.
The session is fully accessible, with flexible pacing and one-to-one support throughout, so whether you're picking up clay for the first time or returning to refine your skills, you'll leave with more confidence in the material and your own creative approach.
About the artist
Beate Grauduma is a traditionally trained sculptor with a background in academic figurative modelling and contemporary arts practice.
