About this Event
Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) is an embodied movement,dance and healing practice that invites us into deeper connection, with ourselves, with another person, and with the space around us, both through and beyond physical touch.
We use dance as a metaphor for life. The way we move, relate, approach, retreat, trust, lead, follow, and respond in the dance often reflects patterns that also appear in our everyday lives. Through movement, we have the opportunity to become more aware of these patterns and discover new possibilities for relating.
CBC weaves together elements of Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation, Qi Gong, Somatics, and other movement and healing practices. The intention is not to perform or dance beautifully, but to cultivate presence, awareness, authenticity, and meaningful connection.

What to Expect
Together we will explore a series of guided movement experiences, including:
- Grounding and body awareness practices
- Gentle somatic warm-ups
- Solo, partner, and group explorations
- Contact Beyond Contact movement exercises
- Creative improvisation and playful connection
- Space for reflection and integration
No dance experience is necessary. The workshop is open to anyone who is curious about movement, embodiment, and authentic connection.
You can expect a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where consent, choice, and personal boundaries are honoured throughout the experience.
About Morpho
Morpho is a Contact Beyond Contact Level 2 Facilitator, Ecstatic Dance DJ and facilitator, and co-founder of Cocoon Ecstatic Dance in London.
Passionate about movement and dance as a pathway to connection, healing, and self-discovery, he creates welcoming spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and express themselves authentically. His facilitation blends embodied movement, conscious dance, music, encouraging participants to explore curiosity, presence, and meaningful connection in a safe and supportive environment.
Whether someone is stepping into a movement space for the first time or has years of experience, he invites everyone to move at their own pace, honour their boundaries, and discover the wisdom that emerges through the body.
