About this Event
Connect & Reflect: A Fall Farmers' Gathering
Calling all growers!
Come spend an evening with us as we celebrate the season's closing. We’ll gather to reflect on the season: share practices, lessons learned, and build relationships over a community meal.
This is a space to discuss what we're holding, both the land and the practices that sustain it, as we turn towards the quiet season.
Shared Meal
A fresh and hearty dinner will be provided.
Networking
Conversation time with other growers to share experiences, adaptations, and lessons learned from the season.Topics of interest include:
- What new regenerative techniques were engaged
- How has water management changed
- How was soil and habitat biodiversity affected
- What knowledge was gained between crop planning and harvest
- Key lessons learned and real-time adaptations utilized
Lending Library
BFSC will share about their new tool lending library, reviewing resources and access.

The Black Food Sovereignty Coalition's (BFSC) mission is to ignite Black and Brown communities to participate as owners and movement leaders within food systems, placemaking, and economic development. We serve as a collaboration hub for Black and Brown communities to confront the systemic barriers that make food, place and economic opportunities inaccessible to us. BFSC is focused on meeting these barriers with creative, innovative, and sustainable solutions.
