A former political commentator for The Spectator, The Daily Telegraph and The Daily Mail, Oborne has built a reputation for confronting political institutions and questioning authority across the spectrum. His acclaimed 2021 book, The Assault on Truth, examined what he argued was the normalisation of political dishonesty in the era of Boris Johnson and Donald Trump.
His latest book, Complicit, turns his attention to Britain's role in the conflict in Gaza, raising urgent questions about responsibility, foreign policy and the decisions made by those in power.
Joining him is one of Britain's most experienced broadcast journalists, Alex Thomson. A long-serving Channel 4 News presenter and award-winning foreign correspondent, Thomson has reported from conflicts and global events for more than three decades, from the Gulf War to the world's most challenging frontline stories.
