About this Event
Community Yoga:
Our class will be a slow flow, meaning we will be taking our time and moving with intention. There will be elements of challenge, but I will offer options to either build or lessen heat in your personal practice. I am a firm believer that because we all have our own unique skeletal and muscular variations, each posture will look a little different in every person. Everything I offer is intended to be something for you to try on, but there is no one size fits all in yoga and I encourage everyone to express autonomy and move freely in any way that feels good. All skill levels welcome! Even laying on your mat for the hour and sitting with your breath in space with others is incredibly beneficial.
What To Bring:
Wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in. We have mats but you're also welcome to bring your own!
Meet your Instructor:
Hi, I’m Saturn (they/them)! I received my 200hr yoga teacher certification in January 2025, so I am currently working on building my teaching experience. I did not find yoga until adulthood and it has completely changed my life; offering me a lot of relief from chronic pain, helping me find connection to my body and breath, and opening the door to other types of physical activity that I hadn’t previously thought were available to me. Yoga is my biggest passion in life and it is an honor and a pleasure to have an opportunity to share what I have learned with others!
