About this Event
Kids Coding School will deliver a hands-on program designed to spark curiosity in technology, engineering and creative problem-solving. Through guided, age-appropriate projects, kids will explore how simple circuits, mechanics and coding principles bring everyday objects to life.
Each week, participants will build and test their own interactive creation- encouraging experimentation, confidence and a deeper understanding of how things work.
Programming Schedule:
November 1 - Airplane Launcher
Design, build, and launch your very own airplane! Students explore the science of flight, forces, and aerodynamics while experimenting with different designs to see whose aircraft can fly the farthest.
November 8 - Ball Shooter
Get ready to aim, build, and launch! Students create their own ball shooter while learning about forces, motion, angles, and energy through hands-on experimentation and friendly challenges.
November 15 - Egg Drop Challenge
Can you protect an egg from a high-flying drop? Students use creativity and engineering skills to design and build a protective structure, testing how materials, weight, and design can work together to absorb impact.
November 22 - Motorized Vacuum
Turn engineering into a cleaning adventure! Students build a working motorized vacuum while discovering how motors, electricity, suction, and mechanical systems come together to create a useful machine.
November 29 - Robotic Hand
Build a hand that moves! Students explore robotics, mechanics, and human anatomy as they design and construct a functional robotic hand, learning how simple mechanisms can mimic the movement of our fingers.
