This is an event that focuses on YOU , helping the women of Bradford and surrounding areas to shine and grow empowerment together
About this Event

Ladies it is time for the women of Bradford to shine their own lights on themselves and each other regardless of what their business does. ( the exception being Jaydn of Metro Bank who has helped us bring this event to life ) Leeds have had Coffee Chat and Cake for a while now so its time for Bradford to step into its own light.

Join Lara El Khoury Harper and Dr Ailsa Care for our third Community, Conversation and Coffee event. Brought to you buy Anita Pickersgill FCICM

DrAilsa Clare

Founder and director of The Zenergy Centre

A retired NHS GP with 34 years of experience, including 27 years in the same Huddersfield GP practice. Her own health challenges led her to explore an environmental and functional medicine approach, transforming her health and understanding of health from treating symptoms to exploring root causes and viewing the body as an interconnected ecosystem of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Following further training and experience in environmental, functional and bioidentical hormone medicine, even co-authoring a book (Nutrition, Hormones and Mental Health published September 2021), Ailsa retired from clinical practice in May 2026. Two years earlier, in June 2024, she co-founded The Zenergy Centre, a frequency room based at Cedar Court Hotel Bradford in their conference space.

Passionate about the potential of frequency-based modalities, Ailsa believes we are only at the beginning of a new chapter in how we understand and support human health.

Attendees will receive some expert tips on supporting the body to maintain it's optimal energy levels.

Lara El Khoury Harper

Born in Lebanon, Laras journey is one of courage, resilience and transformation. At a young age her family fled a war zone and began a new chapter in France, where she grew up. France was where Lara found love , married and moved to the UK in 2010. Her career has spanned 15 years in high end hospitality it was a real challenge leaving everything familiar behind.

One of the most challenging and rewarding chapters of Laras life was her six-year fertility journey. After years of hope, perseverance and countless attempts, she became a mother at 46 and a half. Motherhood later in life taught her so much about patience, strength and never giving up on what matters most. It also taught her that no matter what limitations her body was setting, her mind could overcome it and lead her to think that it was possible to become a mother even a later stage in my life.

In a talk titled My story is proof that it is never too late to reinvent yourself, reclaim your confidence and create a life that truly reflects who you are Lara will inspire, motivate as she shares her story from a war zone to working in the wellness sector in 2026.

Anita Pickersgill FCICM started running these events as a way of paying it back and also paying it forward she is passionate about helping small, ambitious growing businesses thrive. Winner of the Jenny Oldfield Supporting Women in Credit Award in 2022 she really is a commercial debt collector with a heart, helping promote the understanding of what credit management means for smaller businesses and why it iso important when it comes to late payment and debt collection.

Anita has been asked so many times over the years how she became a debt collector that she decided to write a book which is due to come out soon.

This meeting is a place where you can come along without your corporate mask, it is ok to have a bad hair day, feel yuk day, need someone to lift you up or share some frustrations with day.

Fusing taking care of yourself with taking care of business makes perfect sense to us.

Have a problem but cannot quite put your figure on it, lost your mojo or direction a bit , juggling the children and your partner plus your own business can be empowering, exhausting and also quite scary.

Join us to talk about what you do, what you want to do, grow your network, you are one person working in your business, whilst at the same time living your none work life.

We grow organically, our ladies want to help other ladies grow thier business and themselves, sharing knowledge and skills.

Every attendee will receive a gratitude bag as we know your time is precious and by giving us your time you are helping us build something special
