Hey Colts Disciples,I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the great weather we’ve had recently.
A big shout-out to Andre Arnold and Kerry for taking the annual group photo (attached). A limited supply of prints will be available this week.
While it is long overdue, the Chris Ballard era has finally come to an end. It looks like we may be heading toward a complete rebuild. While that is tough to accept as fans, it seems like the only path forward. We will need to stay patient and hope the next general manager and coaching staff can turn things around quickly.
This Sunday, we take on the Dallas Cowboys. They entered the season with high expectations and a talented roster, but they have struggled to finish games. Hopefully, that trend continues and the Colts can secure a win this week.
Regarding the recent trades, while some may have wished we kept DeForest Buckner and Quenton Nelson, they have both joined teams with realistic title hopes. They gave everything to this organization, and I wish them the best. As for Jonathan Taylor, this could very well be his last game in Indy. While it would be hard to see him go, he is our biggest trade asset for the future. Hopefully, he puts up a huge performance this week and maximizes his value.
