🍪 Cookies & Cards 🃏Presented by The Colorado Phoenix ProjectGet ready for an afternoon where cookies, cards, and life lessons come together!
At Cookies & Cards, kids will discover that collectible card games are about much more than winning. Through trading, playing, collecting, and interacting with mentors and other kids, participants will practice skills they can carry into everyday life.
Kids will learn how to think strategically, make decisions, understand value, negotiate fairly, communicate confidently, and handle both winning and losing with character. Trading cards also create natural opportunities to talk about money, patience, wants versus needs, and why something being exciting doesn't always make it a smart trade.
Most importantly, this isn't a classroom lecture. Kids will be playing, laughing, trading cards, enjoying cookies, and making new friends while learning along the way.
The Colorado Phoenix Project believes some of life's best lessons happen when kids don't even realize they're learning.
Come for the cookies. Play the cards. Leave with something bigger.
Building Stronger Minds. Stronger Leaders. Stronger Communities.
