With one of the richest collections of historic maps in Virginia, join us as we explore the stories behind some of the VMHC’s most fascinating cartographic gems. In this series, VMHC staff curate displays featuring some of the museum’s millions of artifacts and manuscripts that are not currently on exhibit. In addition to a themed presentation, guests are led on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the museum’s storage areas to examine the museum’s collection up close while interacting with VMHC staff members.
