About this Event
Want to put your musical abilities to good use to support improvised songs and musicals? This class is for those comfortable playing by chords on guitar or piano to introduce tangible skills for being a musical director for musical improv. Learn about basic chord patterns, song structures, and making strong improv choices as a musician to make any song its own Broadway-worthy moment! Basic proficiency with playing guitar or piano by chords required.
Dates: The class runs Saturdays, starting 11/14/2026 and running for 2 weeks.
Instructor: Jonathan Fuller
Jonathan Fuller (he/him) is a improv comedian and musician who has performed with Coalition house teams Silver Child (Harold) and From the Top (long-form musical improv) as well as Indie team Tall Kid Energy. When he's not performing and healing his inner theater kid, he's watching TV or sports, baking, or being an educator, progressive clergyperson, and all around silly goose.
Prerequisites: Basic proficiency with playing guitar or piano chords required.
Cost: $75 (Early Bird: $60)
