Join us at Dov & Company in Ballston Quarter for a guided Coffee Tasting Experience led by the expert roasters at Kaphy Coffee Roasters. This hands-on session is designed to completely change how you experience coffee — moving beyond simply drinking it and into understanding the flavors, aromas, and details behind every cup.
Through a professional-style tasting process, you’ll explore coffee the way roasters and baristas do: by smelling, tasting, comparing, and learning how different origins and roast profiles affect what ends up in your cup.
You’ll sample 8 different coffees, each with its own distinct flavor notes and characteristics, while learning how to identify acidity, body, sweetness, and aroma with confidence. The perfect outing for coffee lovers, curious beginners, morning dates, or anyone looking for a unique weekend experience.
What You’ll Experience:
✔ Smelling freshly ground coffee to identify aroma profiles
✔ Breaking the surface of brewed coffee (“the crust”) to release deeper notes
✔ Guided tasting using traditional coffee cupping techniques
✔ Sampling 8 distinct coffees from different origins and roast styles
