Get a behind-the-scenes peek in the museum at Coffee and Classics, a regular morning tea for members of our friends' society, PhiloLogie and UC Classoc. Each session includes at short talk about an object or two from the collection, and the chance to enjoy a spot of coffee and cake together.October - The Timeless experience of Motherhood: Assistant Curator Emily Rosevear investigates the realities and representations of motherhood in the ancient Mediterranean world through a series of artefacts from the Logie Collection.
Emily Rosevear currently works at the UC Teece Museum as the Assistant Curator. She is a graduate of the University of Canterbury having completed her undergraduate degree in Classics and History, followed by a Masters Degree in History. She is also a proud mum to her eight month old son, Theodore.
This is an invitation event for PhiloLogie or Classoc members and UC students, but guests and new members are welcome to attend!
