Her favourite band is The Daffodils, her best friend is called Suzie, and she is searching for her lost toy, Pig. But suddenly, everything feels different, and the world through Codetta’s eyes begins to change.
Without warning she is experiencing strange sexual awakenings, having arguments with her mother and second guessing her best friend in the whole wide world. The sureness of childhood is slipping away, in its place, the certainty of the end of the world is looming.
Codetta didn’t plan on the apocalypse coming so soon. But here she is, having to let go of the things she loves in order to make it out alive. Luckily, she has The Daffodils.
