Trader Vic’s classic mixture of rum, orgeat, orange liqueur, and lime juice is a boozy, rich, and balanced tipple, yet copy cats abound, many of which are replete with a host of juices and syrups that were never called for. As the classic recipe has again taken hold, there have been a spate of new variations that stay faithful to the original formula.
