Cocina De Cortijo translates roughly to "Farmhouse Kitchen", as the CDC curatorial team we wish to embrace the core of the dining experience and simultaneously create a cultural one; specifically inspired by the Southern American countryside. The menu, hospitality, music, and design will all collaborate as a reflection of the rustic, rural, & deeply organic identity of places like Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Haiti, and more. In the menu, we want to embrace the warmth & spice that accompanies the late summer and early autumn cuisine of Southern America, focusing on farm to table, family style dining.
Cocina De Cortijo is a family style dining experience, one concept, one table, one space, one shared expreience; feel free to arrive at 5:30 pm for a pre-dinner Apertivo hour where you can meet the curators & chefs, mingle amounst your fellow diners and maybe even find an unexpected seat-mate. After seating, allow the Cocina De Cortijo team to guide you through a cultural experience of story telling, music and community.
