This Halloween we are working together with COAST WCS to host two 1.5 hour LEVELED workshops and a NEWCOMER class before their day dance. That's October 31st, 2026 with an Open Level workshop, WSDC Intermediate + level workshop, and an Intro to West Coast Swing class.
Open Level Workshop:
The expectation is that you are comfortable (and can recall without reminder) your basic six- and eight-count patters: left side pass, underarm pass, sugar push, sugar tuck, and basic whip.
Intermediate + Workshop:
The expectation is that you qualify for the Intermediate division in the WSDC registry. You must sign up with your WSDC ID and we will check. If you'd like to "audition up" to this class, please contact Keerigan Rudd directly by 8pm October 29th via Facebook, Instagram, or email. You will be asked to send a recent video of you dancing.
Intro to West Coast Swing / Newcomer:
This class is FREE! This class is for you if you've only taken a few weeks of WCS classes or have never taken west coast swing classes before. We'll get you ready to social dance and get your dance journey going! :)
Schedule:
12:00pm - 1:30pm: Open / Novice Workshop
1:30pm - 3:00pm: Intermediate + Workshop
3:00pm - 3:30pm: Break
3:30pm - 4:00pm: (FREE) Intro to West Coast Swing / Newcomer Workshop
4:00pm - 7:30pm: SOCIAL DANCE
7:30pm: Scary Jack & Jill + Costume Contest
We hope to see you there!
