The Sacred Padi Pooja“Swami Saranam!”
As the holy season of Mandalam approaches, the air fills with a deep sense of reverence, surrender, and the resonant chant of Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa. It is a time when hearts turn toward the divine, seeking purification, peace, and the timeless grace of Lord Ayyappa.
Among the most soul-stirring rituals of this sacred season is the Padi Pooja—the ceremonial worship of the holy eighteen steps (Pathinettam Padi). The steps are not merely a physical ascent; they represent the spiritual journey of the soul shedding its earthly attachments, overcoming the obstacles of the senses, and moving toward the divine abode of supreme consciousness.
To partake in a Padi Pooja is to invite immense blessings into your home and lineage. Recognizing the profound spiritual yearning of devotees during Mandalam, the temple is offering 10 exclusive slots for families or groups to sponsor and perform the Padi Pooja.
Intimate & Sacred: The entry to the basement is exclusively reserved for the sponsoring family or group (maximum of 10 members), allowing for a deeply personal, focused, and serene spiritual experience.
A Community of Faith: All other devotees are warmly invited to gather in the upstairs designated area to partake in the divine vibrations, witness the luminous steps adorned with lamps and flowers, and chant along in unison.
Slots are strictly limited and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to consecrate this Mandalam season in the name of your family and seek the boundless grace of Lord Ayyappa, we encourage you to secure your booking this November.
Contact: Reach out to the temple front office for assistance.

May the lighting of every lamp on the holy steps dispel the darkness within our hearts, and may Lord Ayyappa guide every step of our lives toward righteousness and devotion.
