With our Winter Quarter just around the corner, now is the perfect time to sign up for music classes—discover the musician in your child at CMC! Our classes are accessible, led by experienced and enthusiastic teachers, in a modern and convenient space. If you're ready to start your musical journey, but not sure where to start, join our CMC Sparks Open House and we'll guide you on your adventure with information sessions and hands-on class demos for kids ages 4–11.
Young children ages 4–5 can start their introduction to musical concepts with our Music for Children class demo and kids ages 5+ can explore piano, guitar, and violin in the CMC Sparks program demos.

Register for one hour-long session for either CMC Sparks (ages 5–11) ˆor Music for Children (ages 4–5)

Each CMC Sparks session includes an overview of CMC and the Sparks Program, followed by short demo classes of guitar, piano, and violin. Each family will have an opportunity to try each instrument!
Each Music for Children session includes an overview of CMC and a group class demonstration with songs, musical play, and movement.
Please note: Space is limited. Please register in advance. Select one program registration per family. Families with children in both age ranges should register once for each program they will attend (CMC Sparks and/or Music for Children).
About CMC Sparks:
This program teaches beginning music and instrumental fundamentals in a fun, group environment. These sequential classes provide progressive opportunities to develop new skills, such as learning to play with others in an ensemble, easing young musicians into more advanced playing. These programs will give students the skills and confidence to join other CMC youth ensemble classes. See CMC Sparks classes and ensemble options here.
