TRAIL’s popular seminar series returns in 2026 with informative and engaging sessions scheduled for every Thursday afternoon in October from 1 to 2:30 PM. This year’s events will be held at the Kirkwood Regional Center, Coralville. This series is FREE and open to the public. Presentation titles are being finalized, but speakers and topics thus far include:
• October 1: “Elderescence: The Art of Resilience, Relationships and Reinvention” kickoff session with keynote speaker Connie Benton Wolfe, former President and CEO and current Chief Visionary Officer, Aging and In-Home Services of Northeast Indiana; founder, GroundGame Health (includes lunch)
• October 8: “Start Where You Are: Strength, Balance, Mobility at Any Age,” with Becca Fetter, PT, DPT, Enduring Strength, North Liberty; Lori Enloe, PT; and Chris Nichols, CarePro Home Medical
• Oct. 15: Bone Health, with David DeMik, MD, PharmD, Steindler Orthopedic Clinic, and Jim Norman, PT, Athletico
• Oct. 22: Brain Health, with Michelle Voss, PhD, University of Iowa Health, Brain and Cognition Lab
• Oct. 29: Financial Health, with Keyan McAreavy, JD, BrownWinick Law
Please note that registering for one event in this series will register you for all; however, you are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as you would like.
