Celebrate the closing of (UN)SEEN with a special evening of performance by featured artist Joonhong Min.
Curated by Zoë Goetzmann, the exhibition brings together artists exploring visibility, identity, and what exists beyond immediate perception — and this final event offers a moment to experience those ideas in motion.
Min’s practice spans installation, sculpture, performance, and video, rooted in the textures of urban life. Working with discarded materials collected from the city, he reconstructs them into layered forms that reflect both the monotony and intensity of contemporary environments. His work often draws on personal experiences of alienation and belonging within the diaspora, translating them into immersive visual narratives.
The evening features a performance and screening of Nonconformity Report on Modern Species, a work first presented in Seoul and now shown in the UK for the first time. Blending live action and moving image, the piece explores nonconformity and the conditions of modern existence through Min’s distinctive lens.
