FIVE (or TEN) Week Clay skills course for kids with Katherine KingdonTuesdays 22nd Sep to 20th Oct & 3rd Nov to 8th Dec
4:30pm to 6pm each day
£110 for five weeks or £200 for 10 weeks (save £20)
(no class on 17 November)
This course is for kids 8 years and over.
Learn a variety of clay hand-building techniques, creating practical items like bowls and cups, as well as more decorative pieces such as animals and cars.
Learn coiling, pinch pot construction, slab building, and sculpting and use a range of surface decoration techniques.
Katherine is a skilled ceramicist with over 30 years’ experience of teaching clay to young people.
Dress for mess and bring an apron to the class

[note: Pieces will be taken away for firing and can be collected from City Arts at a later date.]
