This course will provide you with a fundamental understanding of Public Speaking theory and technique while also providing an encouraging, comfortable space to practice and apply this knowledge. Lessons will also focus on the mental blocks and fears associated with Public Speaking along with guidance meant to help you understand, confront, and overcome these obstacles. This approach creates a supportive, enjoyable environment where you can grow as a public speaker, whether you want to strengthen work presentations, take your first steps into performing, or you simply want to become a more confident speaker!
Tyrone Thornhill is a Stand-Up Comedian, Writer, and Teacher, with experience teaching Public Speaking, Stand-Up Comedy, and Improv. He practices a gentle and thoughtful approach to teaching which helps students face the challenge of learning new skills. When he’s not teaching, you can catch Tyrone performing at his favorite venue, Union Hall, and all over NYC.
