Platform’s weekly Clack and Yak knitting group meet at the Platform Cafe at The Bridge for a chat and a cuppa whilst knitting, sewing or crocheting. A friendly and welcoming group, you can choose what to knit - whether it's a piece for yourself, family or friends. Members often make things for good causes such as MacMillan Cancer Support and knitting small hats for donating to hospitals for premature babies. The group are also great at offering advice if you are stuck on a tricky pattern!
Beginners, improvers and experienced knitters are all welcome. Needles, patterns and wool provided to help get you started.
Please email [email protected] if you have any questions or would like more details.
