At Samhain, as the seasons turn and the veil between worlds is said to grow thin, we gather to pause, remember and honour those who came before us.
Our ancestors are woven into who we are โ through stories, traditions, memories and the threads of generations that came before.
This special gathering will weave together movement, breath, ritual and healing, creating space to remember, reconnect and honour our ancestral lines.
โจ What to Expect
๐ฟ Yoga & Breathwork
A slow, grounding practice to root into the earth, settle into the body and gently open to connection. Through symbolic movement, postures such as Tree, Warrior and Mountain and mindful breathwork, weโll prepare ourselves to step into the liminal space of Samhain.
๐ฏ๏ธ Creating Our Ancestral Altar
Together weโll create a shared altar of remembrance. Youโre invited to bring a photograph, small object or meaningful item representing an ancestor or loved one you would like to honour.
๐ฅ Sacred Ritual & Connection
Through drumming, meditation and ritual, weโll create space to remember those who walked before us and explore our own connection with ancestry, lineage and memory.
๐ซ Ancestral Healing
Working gently in pairs, youโll have the opportunity to both give and receive a healing experience connected with the ancestors.
๐ฅ Weโll close our circle together with gratitude and a collective offering, honouring those who came before and the lives we continue to carry forward.
Please bring with you:
โข A photograph or small meaningful item for our ancestral altar
โข One whole raw egg
โข One tall, clear-sided drinking glass
โข A journal if youโd like to capture any reflections
โข Warm, comfortable clothing
You donโt need any previous experience of yoga, meditation, healing or spiritual practice. Come exactly as you are, with an open mind and heart.
A beautiful afternoon of remembrance, connection and honouring the threads that connect past, present and future. ๐๐ฏ๏ธaw
