احتفالًا باليوم العالمي للصحة النفسية، وفي عرض جديد من نادي السينما بمركز الأولويات الاستراتيجية «بين الكادرات سياسات»..نعرض الفيلم القصير «المقابلة»، العمل المصري المؤثر الذي يفتح مساحة إنسانية للنقاش حول الصحة النفسية، والرعاية داخل الأسرة، وقوة الدعم في اللحظات الصعبة.
يحكي الفيلم قصة «نادية»، الشابة التي تجد نفسها بين مقابلة عمل قد تغيّر حياتها، والبقاء إلى جانب والدتها التي تمر بأزمة نفسية حادة. ومن خلال هذه القصة، نقترب من أسئلة مهمة حول التعاطف، والمسؤولية، وكيف يمكن للدعم الواعي أن يصنع فرقًا حقيقيًا.
وبمشاركة د. مايكل النميس فوزي، استشاري الطب النفسي، نفتح حوارًا أعمق حول تعزيز الوعي بالصحة النفسية، ودعم الأسر، وبناء بيئات أكثر احتواءً وإنسانية تساعد الأفراد على طلب المساندة بثقة وكرامة.
في «بين الكادرات سياسات».. لا نكتفي بالمشاهدة. نحلّل، نناقش، ونحوّل السينما إلى مساحة لإنتاج أفكار داعمة للسياسات العامة.
الصحة النفسية مسؤولية مشتركة.. وكل مساحة آمنة للحوار قد تكون بداية للدعم والتغيير.

On World Mental Health Day, and in a new screening by SPH Cinema Club “Policy Twist”..
We are screening the Egyptian short film “The Interview”, a powerful work that opens a human conversation about mental health, family caregiving, and the power of support in difficult moments.
The film follows Nadia, a young woman caught between a job interview that could change her life and staying with her mother during a severe mental health crisis. Through this story, we reflect on empathy, responsibility, and how informed support can make a real difference.
With Dr. Michael Elnemais Fawzy, Consultant Psychiatrist, joining the discussion, we open a deeper dialogue on mental health awareness, family support, and building more compassionate environments where people can seek help with confidence and dignity.
At “Policy Twist”.. we don’t just watch films. We analyze, discuss, and turn cinema into a space for policy-oriented thinking.
Mental health is a shared responsibility.. and every safe space for dialogue can be a starting point for support and change.
