April's showing of Cinema at the Civic is a participating event in Ohio Goes to the Movies™ (OGTTM), a statewide celebration of movies showcasing Ohio’s contributions to America’s film industry and moviemaking. A Signature Event of America 250-Ohio!Cinema at the Civic is a free-admission, family movie series celebrating the Akron Civic Theatre’s roots as a classic movie house, inviting families to enjoy a film together under the Civic’s iconic, star-lit ceiling.
