About this Event
Join us in person for the first of a series of ongoing Churchwarden Training. This practical and engaging session is designed to equip church wardens with a clearer understanding of the challenges and leadership opportunities of their role. It will consider what has become known as second chair leadership, how to understand and navigate the role of churchwarden as a leader, whilst remaining under the leadership of another. It will provide valuable guidance on the day-to-day aspects of navigating the complexities of this relationship.
Whether you're new to the role or have been serving for some time, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, ask questions, explore best practice, and connect with fellow churchwardens from across the Diocese. Expect practical advice, useful resources, and plenty of opportunities to share experiences and learn from one another.
The training will be delivered in partnership with BridgeBuilder Ministries, a leading provider of training and support for Christian leaders in the areas of transformative relationships and reconciliation. Find out more about their work at BB Ministries.
By the end of the day, you'll leave better equipped, better connected, and encouraged in your ministry and service.
Don't miss this valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and serve your church with confidence.
