We'll kick things off with 30 minutes of playful watercolour exercises, where Sally will share some of her favourite tips for getting the most out of this beautiful medium. You'll experiment with how watercolours flow, blend and layer, helping you feel comfortable and confident before getting started on your Christmas koala.
And here's a little bonus! Your koala will already be lightly sketched onto your watercolour paper, so there's no need to worry about getting the drawing just right. You can jump straight into the fun part... painting!
With Sally guiding you step by step, you'll gradually bring your koala to life, building up soft layers of colour, adding depth and texture, and creating those gorgeous glowing Christmas lights.
You'll also explore how to paint delicate floral details to make your koala's pretty flower crown bloom.
