For more than 30 years, the City of Richfield has welcomed our Christmas tree lot to Veterans Park, giving us a magical place to spend the holiday season. The lot is currently managed by Joe, who spends his summers shearing trees across the Midwest. By the time Christmas rolls around, he and his crew know their way around just about every shape, size and species of tree.With more than 400 trees on display, there’s plenty to choose from: Balsam, Fraser, Canaan and Korean fir, Blue and Meyer spruce, white pine and scotch pine. Trees range from standard sizes up to 16 feet, so this is a good stop if you’re shopping for a taller tree too.
You’ll also find plenty beyond the tree itself, including wreaths from 12” to 60”, garland, swags, spruce tips, porch pots, tabletop trees, tree stands, fresh boughs, red dogwood and birch sticks for decorating.
