Join Fran for a fun, 3-hour class as she guides you through creating one beautiful section of the Fabric Café Tree Cozy featuring the appliquéd heart.
You should be able to complete ONE Tree Cozy section during class. Once you learn the technique, you can create additional sections at home to make your Tree Cozy large enough to wrap around your tree. Additional fabric will need to be purchased for any additional sections.
In store kit purchase ( required)
Fabric Café Tree Cozy Pattern
Red Dot tracing fabric
Fabric for ONE section:
1/3 yard each of TWO fabrics if you would like your section to be reversible
OR 1/3 yard of one fabric if you would like the front and back to match
Fabric for heart appliqué — two 7" squares
Precut Tree Cozy stabilizer
Additional Supplies you can bring from home or purchase
Thread to match your appliqué fabric
Pencil or pen
Scissors
Rotary cutter
Cutting mat
At least a 16" ruler
Straight pins
Basic sewing supplies and notions
We do have a large cutting mat, some rulers, 2 rotary cutters, and an ironing station available for participants to use who dont bring those from home.
Sewing Machine Requirements:
Please bring a sewing machine capable of:
Basic straight stitch
Blanket stitch or zigzag stitch for appliqué
Please also bring an open-toe foot for appliqué.
This is such a special opportunity to spend time learning directly from Fran Morgan of Fabric Café, and we are thrilled to have her joining us at Sew Much Fun with Melissa!
