Using handmade cigar box guitars and primitive tube amplifiers, Gumbo dives deep into the roots of the blues, while The Monk brings soulful vocals, expressive timing and a touch of flamenco influence.
Together, they perform classics by Robert Johnson, Son House, Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker, sharing fascinating stories about blues history, its music and instruments along the way.
