About this Event
Stop collecting business cards you never use.
Chicago Business Link is a structured B2B networking evening for business owners, consultants, executives, freelancers, and professional service providers who want more useful conversations than a typical open mixer.
Guests participate in two facilitated roundtable sessions with professionals from complementary industries.
Round 1 — Business Needs & Capacity
Discuss:
- services your business provides;
- types of partners you work well with;
- current operational needs;
- geographic or industry focus;
- capacity for new projects.
Round 2 — Referral Partner Mapping
Explore where two or more businesses may have complementary customer needs without competing directly.
Examples are educational only. The event does not guarantee leads, clients, referrals, contracts, or revenue.
Structured Follow-Up
Each attendee receives a Referral Action Sheet for recording voluntary follow-up conversations.
Guests may also opt in to a post-event Chicago Business Link Directory containing only the professional information they choose to share.
No attendee list is automatically distributed.
Non-Solicitation Standard
Briefly explaining your business is welcome.
Aggressive pitching, unsolicited mass prospecting, MLM recruiting, financial-product pitching, lead harvesting, and repeated unwanted follow-up are prohibited.
Do not share confidential customer records, private client lists, financial information, passwords, or other sensitive business data.
