Charles's Jukebox returns for a series of events at the iconic Rivoli Ballroom in 2026, including this special one-off for the Summer Solstice, with hot tunes and a special surprise performance. (Other dates for his Saturday nights in 2026 are 4 April, 9 May, 5 September and 19 December.)
It’s an aftenoon of social dancing for the Equality Dance community in a friendly, inclusive and fun environment. DJ Charles will keep you on the floor with music from Standard Ballroom and Latin dances to Alternative Club rhythms ranging from Argentine Tango to Salsa. There will also be a selection of traditional and modern Line and Sequence dances to get everyone involved.
Charles Chan is a well-known face amongst the Equality Dance community. He is a DJ and compere as well as a Fellow of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing in both Ballroom and Latin. He DJ’s regularly at the Pink Jukebox, London Dance Studio and Dance Lab. His mix of new tunes, classics and surprises appeals to dancers of all generations and has taken him to venues such as the Rivoli Ballroom, Bristol Equality Dance, Matico Dance Studio and Cheek2Cheek Ballroom in Brighton. He had his first international engagement in 2025 as a DJ for the EuroGames in Lyon.
