Character Painting and Composition 101

Over the weekend, students will cover how to go about approaching miniature painting from a display painters perspective. Including how to get the most out of your characters, and creating striking pieces that look right at home alongside other art forms. The class will cover everything from conceptualising pieces and characters, planning, rendering different materials (such as skin tones, hard materials and hair), the impact of lighting and refinement techniques.
