We have two great presentations lined up for our November meeting!
PETER JENKINS – WILD RIVER OUTFITTERS
Fishing guide Peter Jenkins will join us to share stories from his guiding adventures, including his experience in Alaska, along with tips and techniques for local salmon and steelhead fishing. Peter also generously donated a guided fishing trip to our chapter banquet last year, and we're grateful for his continued support!
THERE'S A DAMN DAM IN OUR BACKYARD!
Greta Holmstrom, Executive Director of the Greater Yamhill Watershed Council, will tell us about the 110-year-old Baker Creek Dam near McMinnville and efforts to remove this fish passage barrier. The project could reopen more than 8 square miles of habitat for salmon, trout, and other native fish.
