CFA2210 Collaborative Music Ensembles
Concert Showcase 2026
13 November 2026 (Friday) | 6:00 PM
Yale-NUS Performance Hall
Discover the joy of making music together at the CFA2210 Collaborative Music Ensembles Concert Showcase 1, featuring NUS student musicians presenting an exciting mix of classical masterpieces, creative arrangements and fresh musical interpretations!
Offered by the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, CFA2210 is a project-based course that brings students together to explore the art of ensemble performance. Working in small groups, students develop their musical and collaborative skills through experimentation, artistic exploration and the shared experience of creating music.
This semester's showcase celebrates the creativity and versatility of our student musicians, with performances that span different musical periods, styles and instrumental combinations.
From Bach Reborn, which breathes new life into the timeless works of J.S. Bach, to 3F1H, presenting a playful blend of Mozart and contemporary musical favourites, the concert offers fresh perspectives on familiar and unexpected repertoire. Les Trois Voyageurs takes audiences on a musical journey through the expressive colours and possibilities of the flute trio, while musicians from the NUS Symphony Orchestra (NUSSO) present Mozart's magnificent Gran Partita, showcasing the richness and beauty of wind ensemble music.
More than a concert, this showcase is a celebration of musical discovery, teamwork and the creative connections that emerge when musicians come together.
Join us for an evening of musical exploration and experience the creativity of NUS student musicians!
