CenterFest, Durham’s longest-running outdoor juried arts festival, returns September 19–20 for a weekend celebrating art, music, food, and the creative spirit of Durham.
Presented by the Durham Arts Council, CenterFest brings more than 120 juried artists to downtown Durham alongside live performances, local food and drinks, hands-on activities for kids, and plenty of opportunities to shop one-of-a-kind artwork and handmade goods. New this year, the festival will feature the Threads of Community Award, recognizing artwork that explores connections between people, place, and memory.
With something for every age, CenterFest is a celebration of the culture, creativity, and community that make Durham unique. Come spend the weekend downtown and experience why Culture Lives Here.
Admission: Free to the public; a $5 donation is encouraged to support the Durham Arts Council’s programs and mission.
